Prototype · Configure, price, quote

A quoting tool, on a sample catalog.

This is one prototype we've built, a working quoting tool called QuickerQuotes. Teams that sell configurable products often keep pricing, options, and rules in spreadsheets and in a few people's heads. This shows what it looks like when they live in one tool. We build custom software and help with digital modernization for all kinds of businesses, and this is one example.

01

Import the master price list

Upload HQ’s master spreadsheet. Products, options, and ordering rules are validated before anything is committed, so a bad row is caught here instead of in a customer’s quote.

The Import Master Price List screen validating a catalog of nine products, fifty options, and fourteen ordering rules, with a warning for a rule that references an unknown code.
02

Rules enforce as you build

Configuration and pricing rules from the master sheet run live on every order. Incompatible combinations block the quote until they are resolved, and required pairings are flagged automatically.

The Ordering Rules screen listing incompatible combinations and required pairings, each marked as blocking a quote until resolved.
03

Build an order, generate the quote

Configure equipment for a customer while the live quote total updates with every option and fee. One click finalizes it into an editable .docx quotation your team can send.

The New Order screen configuring equipment for a customer, with a live quote total panel and a button to finalize and generate the quote.
